Brilliant news!!! I'm so glad he's recovering. It's amazing (sometimes worrying as well) how different vets seem to contradict each other when it comes to treatment....
So, I think we need to increase the beer dosage plus
i'm really nervous and scared right now.
i just brought my boy kitty to the emergency care clinic with a blocked urinary tract.. i noticed something was wrong last night when i came home and his sister greeted me at the front door (he is always the first one to greet me).
i went into my bathroom and saw that one of them had pooped on the floor - something neither of them had ever done before.

yep, we're up to number 141, not counting some mid-week polls (remember them?).
so, how's the week been for you?
progressed along the road to freedom?
17. They might inadvertently speak to 'apostates'!
I can verify what damselfly and RodP said. Whenever I've visited the local KH, the people I sat with always shared their songbook with me, which I find quite nice. I always sit with the Witnesses who visit me to drop in WT and Awake though so I'm not sure what would happen if I went and sat next to someone who didn't know me - I think maybe the same, as most of the other folk did say 'hello' to me and ask about me - more friendly than some 'mainstream' churches.
The only people who don't appear that friendly are the 'sidespeople' (still dunno what you call them!) who look more threatening than nightclub bouncers!
my mum lives next door to a little newsagents shop run by an asian family.
i used to live there, and i had the phone number of mr badat because sometimes people used to try and break in.
mr badat died last year and a younger moslem family took over.
Katie, you and your mum should be proud of what she did - she's done her little bit to help her neighbours not to feel so isolated.
The thing that annoys me about idiot racists like that guy is that they won't hesitate to do their shopping there if there's no alternative, say late at night when the supermarkets are shut!
But do they listen to me???If only ONE of your students takes the message on board, it has been worth it - so keep on pushing that message, good on ya!!
a frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller.
he can see from her nameplate that her name is patricia whack.
"miss whack, i'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.
ok I'll own up, ya rumbled me - I grinned before I groaned!!
.
local tv paper this week had a section on religious jokes..amongst which was this.
'what do you get when you cross a devil worshipper with a jehovahs witness.... someone who goes from door to door telling people to go to hell'
What do you get if you cross a dyslexic insomniac with an agnostic?
Someone who lies awake at night wondering if there really is a dog.

at the link below there is a discussion of the great crowd in rev 7:15. .
i would like to ask if anyone could please take a look and offer a critique to that material.. .
http://exegeza.martorii.com/exegesis/un_unnumbered_crowd.htm .
Thanks for the link. It's possibly the one of the most most readable articles I ever saw on this subject. I have a few questions, forgive me if they sound a little stupid but this is a topic that I never really sat down and studied properly before.
2. Similarities between Isaiah 61, 66 and Revelation 7 prove that the Great Crowd from Revelation represents the foreigners who become Levites.
If so, would this show that they aren't a seperate class from the Great Crowd after all, the only difference being that the 144000 got there earlier? Or would another possible comparison for the Great Crowd be those who in OT times dedicated themselves to the service of the Lord and spent all their time in the Temple (eg Nazirites, other holy people such as Simeon).
This means that after their coming out of the great tribulation, and later in the millennium, many others will join their number. This is possible because the members of the great crowd are not sealed as faithful before the millennium, as is the case with the 144,000.
I think another common link with this might be that the 'true' Levites were so by birth only - hence they were 'sealed' or set apart before birth, then after Jesus came, the whole nation (of the 'new Israel' were declared a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9).
How does your previous post about the use of naos/hieron (which as a non-JW was a little confusing to me!) fit with all this? Would that just split the two groups apart again so that even though they are in the same temple building, so the 144000 would be in the sanctuary (naos) and the Great Crowd in the general Temple area (hieron)? Or would you say that only Jesus as the great High Priest is 'beyond the veil' in the 'naos' and everyone else is out in the 'hieron' area?
i hate pop ups on my computer.
i can't stand getting salespeople calling from the same company 3 times in a day!
i hate being behind asian or indian drivers........
People who take everything (and probably everyone) for granted - you know - like the bus service that nobody ever uses, then the transport authority announces that they're going to withdraw it. Suddenly hordes of people crawl out the woodwork and start screaming 'You can't do that, it's our lifeline!' GRRRR!!! Use the damn service then they won't withdraw it!!
Or the shop/theatre/cinema that's closing dow because nobody uses it - same thing, suddenly there's a 3000 name petition of people who only used it once in the last 10 years!
Also motorists who rubberneck, drink-drive, use their mobiles while driving, think that their indicators are for ornamental purposes only rather than to let everyone else know where they're going, drive along 'access only' roads or excessively break the speed limit....Come to think of it, maybe I just hate motorists
emo - of the definitely a pedestrian class
have you noticed that some posters seem to use the emoticon buttons more than others?
i have often wondered if those who use the buttons are normally very animated while talking, and use their arms and hands more than those who don't use the buttons.. if maybe they substituted the use of the emoticons for their inability to flail about with their arms, or make faces like they do in person.. i haven't met any of you in person yet so can't say.
it is true, or just a bad theory?.
I'm not very expressive in real life - don't wave my arms about or anything = me! The worst I do is scowl when I'm really mad.
I think I feel more free to express myself on here but also emoticons do go some way to making up for the lack of body language, facial expressions etc and thus help to avoid misunderstandings.
try this for a weekend pastime.
... click the arrow "are you younger than you think?".
btw you may need a calculater to convert height /weight to metric.
Yippeeee! I'm a year younger than I thought!!
Will there be gambling ads on the billboards in heaven?
